Alex Eala after Wimbledon run: 'See you all on the green next year!'

Alex Eala recently wrapped her Wimbledon campaign after making a first round exit in the women's doubles tournament with Eva Lys.

This also came just days after she fell short against Barbora Krejcikova in her debut at Centre Court for the singles tourney.

The Filipina tennis ace, however, vowed to return on the next grass court season.

"Sometimes, the grass is greener on your own side. See you all on the green next year." she wrote in the caption of her post.

The Filipino player also recently said she "couldn’t have asked for a better debut" after her early exit in the singles tourney.

Eala's Wimbledon campaign came just right after she made a runner-up finish in the Eastbourne Open, which is also a grass court tournament.
