LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State continued its strong weekend at the Aggie Invite on Saturday, producing another impressive day of play at the NM State Tennis Center. The Aggies captured five wins on the day, highlighted by three players advancing to their respective flight finals.Leading the charge once again, Anna Pinaieva delivered a dominant performance against New Mexico's Bente Vandeputte, cruising to a 6-1, 6-1 victory to reach the final of Flight A.In Flight B, Montana Parkinson-Lubold battled through a tightly contested first set against Lubbock Christian's Axelle Jacquemin before her opponent was forced to retire due to injury, giving Parkinson-Lubold a 7-6, RET [inj] win and a spot in Sunday's final.Whitney Moon also impressed, picking up a convincing 6-1, 6-1 victory over AnaMaria Zoric (Lubbock Christian) to close out her day in style.Meanwhile, Nadia Nemeth and Emma Petton each added straight-set wins to round out the team's strong showing.
