Mike Hesson and Babar AzamEXCLUSIVE: India to boycott Pakistan in Asia Cup? Harbhajan Singh says, 'Khoon aur paani ek saath nahi beh sakte'Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. Inexperienced team.Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has questioned the appointment of Mike Hesson as the new head coach of the Pakistan cricket team after they were bowled out for a paltry 92 in the third ODI against West Indies.“Mike Hesson is a good T20 coach, but I don’t know what qualities he has for ODIs. In this format, if you don’t play quality players, this is what will happen,” Akhtar said on the Game On Hai show.“Unless you field established all-rounders, batters, bowlers, and spinners, you won’t last the full 50 overs. You can’t just scrape by in this format,” he added.“This is the result of bad policies, not the players’ fault. Your players will always be exposed on seaming tracks. Now, this rebuilding process has simply been given a new name — making a combination,” he remarked.“Be thankful Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc weren’t here. Wherever such conditions exist, our players will be exposed,” Akhtar said. The former pacer also criticised senior Pakistan batters Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.“You have played so much cricket; you should try to finish the game yourself,” Akhtar said.“When Babar bats, he looks so good. He just needs to accelerate and finish the match. If you’ve scored a fifty, the next fifty should come quickly. You’ve already spent an hour at the crease, you understand the pitch — now just double it up.”Pakistan beat West Indies in the first one-day international on Friday by five wickets. West Indies leveled the series with a five-wicket victory in the second ODI.Pakistan won the preceding Twenty20 series 2-1 played in Florida.
