Instead, the Portuguese boss is focusing on securing a deal for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, following the successful acquisition of Wolves star Matheus Cunha.United now face the task of deciding what course of action to take with Sancho as they attempt to generate interest in the player. The Red Devils are keen to avoid loaning Sancho out for the final year of his contract only to see him leave on a free transfer next summer. However, the player himself is not opposed to this idea, as it would allow him to choose his next club freely. At present, Saudi Arabia appears to be the most probable destination for Sancho. Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr are all showing interest. If United can't secure a deal with a major Middle Eastern club, they could utilise the £5million Chelsea paid them to subsidise his wages at another team.United still have an outstanding debt of around £17million to Borussia Dortmund from the £75million transfer fee in 2021, and the Red Devils will need to be creative to find Sancho a new home. As it stands, very few clubs would be prepared to meet Sancho's wage demands outside of the Middle East.
