Work is now being completed behind the scenes for more new arrivals to move to Old Trafford.Premier League clubs have until September 1 to complete their transfer business for the first half of the 2025/26 season. With the window not opening again until the New Year, United will be hoping to ensure their squad is as ready as possible for the return of top-flight football.United will begin their Premier League campaign at home to Arsenal on Sunday, August 17. And there will be another deadline on the horizon that the Old Trafford hierarchy will have to keep in mind.June 30 is not just the date when most players' contracts expire, but also the end of the financial period for each Premier League season. This will apply to Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans, who will all leave United when their deals expire at the end of the month.The deadline also means that some clubs often find themselves looking to sell players in order to comply with the Premier League's Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR).Article continues belowAs the Manchester Evening News reported in May, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony could all be sold this summer, although it remains unclear if deals will be agreed before the end of June.Rashford has a £40million option to buy clause following a loan deal at Aston Villa last season, while Antony is expected to be available for around £32.5million.United will also hope to raise funds from Sancho's exit, after Chelsea decided to pay a £5million penalty fee for choosing not to pay the £25million option to make his loan move permanent.Article continues belowIn terms of new signings, United are hoping to agree a deal with Brentford for the signing of Bryan Mbeumo this summer. United have already had a £55million bid which included an initial fee worth £45million rejected by the Bees, with Tottenham Hotspur also interested in the Cameroon international.Mbeumo is reported to be valued at around £70million, but United are thought to still have confidence that they can strike a deal to bring the forward to Old Trafford this summer.
