More infoManchester United got their first piece of summer transfer business through the door when the club announced the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday. The Brazilian has made the £62.5 million move and has penned a five-year contract, with the option of a further 12 months. While United have splashed out a considerable fee for Cunha, more are expected to follow. Ruben Amorim's side have seen a bid - believed to be worth £55m - rejected by Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo. The Reds are anticipated to return with a second offer for the talented Cameroonian. As well as Cunha and Mbeumo, United are expected to target a new No.9. Viktor Gyokeres as emerged as the favourite to fill that role after it emerged that he is 'open' to signing for United.Elsewhere, United could look to add another goalkeeper with Emiliano Martinez linked, but the focus is set to be on departures. Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho are three players that have been tipped to leave Old Trafford, while Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund might follow. Here, Manchester Evening News take a look at the latest transfer news around United...Leverkusen eye AntonyBayer Leverkusen are eyeing up a surprise move for Manchester United forward Antony should Florian Wirtz leave, as per Sky Sports.Wirtz, 22, is closing in on a £109m move to Liverpool and Leverkusen are expected to dip into the transfer market for a replacement. And Antony, who was signed by new Leverkusen head coach Erik ten Hag at United, has emerged as a candidate following an impressive loan spell at Real Betis.Antony, 25, spent the second half of the season in Seville and impressed, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in 26 matches. His performances not only helped Betis mount a competitive run in La Liga, but also aided their run to the Conference League final.MEN says: For Antony, I think he should avoid the temptation of teaming back up with Erik ten Hag and moving to Leverkusen. Yes, Ten Hag's side are in the Champions League and that would be a major pull, but he suited Spanish football down to the ground and that is where he should return. Therefore, a move back to Betis would be recommendation. He flourished in La Liga during the second half of the season and I think he can continue that form if he moved there in a permanent deal.Casemiro offersManchester United are open to offers for Casemiro in the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph. The 33-year-old is reportedly the highest earner at Old Trafford and United want to sell him to free up funds for players coming in.Casemiro is under contract until 2026 and United have the option to extend his deal for a further 12 months. But the Brazilian could be heading for the exit doors if another club makes a bid for him before the start of next season.MEN says: Casemiro may have impressed near the end of the season, but I do still think United need to cash in and sell the midfielder. Getting his reported £350,000 per week wages off the books would be ideal and I believe that United can use that to free up space for another midfielder to come through the door.A proven Premier League performer, such as Fulham's Sander Berge, is someone I would look at. United need players that can come in and do the job instantly, rather than signing players for the future.
