The Indian cricket team is set to play Australia in a five-match T20 series, starting on Wednesday.

Live streaming and live telecast of all five AUS vs IND T20 matches will be available in India.

The first and second matches of the series will be played at the Manuka Oval in Canberra and the Melbourne Cricket Ground, respectively, while the third will be held at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.

The Bill Pippen Oval in Gold Coast will host the fourth match before the series concludes at the Brisbane Cricket Ground.

After losing the three-match ODI series 2-1 to Australia, India will be looking for redemption in the shorter format under the captaincy of T20 skipper Suryakumar Yadav, who recently led the team to the Asia Cup title.

India’s batting department boasts plenty of firepower, with the world No. 1 T20 batter Abhishek Sharma set to open alongside vice-captain Shubman Gill.

The Indian cricket team also boasts considerable depth in the middle order with the likes of Shivam Dube, Tilak Varma, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh in the mix.

Their bowling attack will be led by pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah alongside T20 specialist spinner Varun Chakravarthy, Arshdeep Singh - India’s leading wicket-taker in the format - and chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav.

Hosts Australia will be led by Mitchell Marsh, with the likes of Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Tim David and Marcus Stoinis also available for the full series.

All-rounder Glenn Maxwell is available for the last three games of the series, while fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will play in the first two. Sean Abbott is another pacer who will feature in the first three matches of the series.

The last time world No. 1 India faced second-ranked Australia in T20I was during the World Cup campaign last year, when they beat the Aussies by 24 runs in a Super Eight encounter.
