Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho drops hint amid Chelsea transfer linkAlejandro Garnacho is expected to leave Manchester United this summer if a deal can be agreed with another clubMan United aim to resolve Alejandro Garnacho’s future this summer (Image: Manchester United via Getty Imag)Alejandro Garnacho has dropped his biggest hint yet about his future as he edges closer to a Manchester United exit.MEN Sport reported earlier this summer that Ruben Amorim told Garnacho he was free to find a new club in the upcoming transfer window, following the Argentine's complaints over limited game time in the Europa League final. Napoli and Chelsea have been strongly linked with Garnacho this summer, but neither club has made an official approach.Garnacho, no longer part of Amorim's plans, has missed all of pre-season first-team training as his future awaits resolution. The 21-year-old, who is reportedly keen to stay in the Premier League, has hinted at his preferred destination on social media. On Saturday night, Fabrizio Romano took to Instagram with an update on Chelsea, claiming the West London club plan to move for both Garnacho and Xavi Simons.Content cannot be displayed without consentThe post was liked by Garnacho. On social media platform X, Romano revealed that Garnacho has given 'total priority' to Chelsea following initial talks. However, negotiations have yet to begin, with Chelsea currently focused on outgoings and Xavi Simons.Article continues belowAmorim was questioned whether the club was worried about losing value on those players in order to facilitate a sale.He said: "That is not the case because there are different reasons for the players [wanting to leave]. Some players have to find a new place to have space in the team. Other players show they want a new challenge and a new team."We are just allowing these players to think and decide. If they reach a point where they will have to join the team, they will join because they are our players."I know for a fact Omar (Barrada, CEO) and Jason (Wilcox, director of football) and the club have a number (price) for these players. If they don't reach that, they will be Manchester United players, no doubt about that. I understand other clubs are maybe waiting for the last minute, but they can have a surprise."While United have previously valued him at around £60–70million, it's widely believed that a bid in the region of £45m could be enough to secure a deal.---Here at The Manchester Evening News, we are dedicated to bringing you the best Manchester United coverage and analysis.Make sure you don't miss out on the latest United news by joining our free WhatsApp group.
