United Outcast Garnacho Faces Backlash Ahead of Transfer

Chelsea fans have reacted after a photo of Alejandro Garnacho at a tattoo parlour emerged online.

Manchester United winger Garnacho is all but certain to move away from Old Trafford this summer.

He was told by Ruben Amorim in front of the squad that he could find another club in May.

That was after he described United's season as 's****y' following the Europa League final, in what was the 21-year-old's latest transgression.

He has since been placed in United's 'bomb squad' of players that are no longer wanted by Amorim.

The players are banned from training with the first team and can only use the facilities at the Carrington training ground after 5pm, as per reports.

The 'bomb squad' initially contained Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, but Rashford has since sealed a loan move to Barcelona.

According to the Daily Mail, the Argentinian has decided he wants to move to Chelsea, who are believed to be interested in signing him.

It is claimed that club chiefs have 'done their homework' on Garnacho regarding his character and are said to have no concerns over his signing.

In a photo that has gone viral on social media, meanwhile, the winger appears to be holding what fans claim is a light blue vape pen.

The video was posted on Instagram by the tattoo parlour on Thursday and does show Garnacho holding the object, though it is unclear as to when the clip was taken. SPORTbible have contacted Alejandro Garnacho's representatives for comment.

In 2023, Garnacho posted a photo which showed him watching a Manchester United game at home, with a green vape pen positioned on the table in front of him. The photo would later be reposted without the vape pen visible.

Reacting to the latest viral photo, one fan wrote: "Everyone can make mistakes, let's not pretend Chelsea haven't with some transfers... this very well looks to be one too."

While a second said: "I'm a big fan of Garnacho but you can't have someone vaping."

A third wrote: "Garnacho doesn't help himself. What's he doing vaping?"

But a fourth countered: "I don't care in the slightest what kind of (legal) vices football engage in their private lives."

And a fifth added: "This Garnacho hate is just pathetic."
