Mensik paints the lines (literally!) in Lexus ATP Head2Head Challenge

Tennis fans know all about the challenges of maintaining a grass court. But what about the lines?

Under normal circumstances, they are spray-painted on with chalk in perfect right angles to make the 78-foot long court we all know and love — 27 feet wide at the singles sidelines and 36 feet wide including the doubles alleys. Simple enough, right? But how about doing it with a blindfold on?

That was Jakub Mensik's task in the latest Lexus ATPHead2Head challenge, when he took on host Natalie Pike in London. The contest, in which both contestants took artistic liberties, was ultimately judged by ATP supervisor Gerry Armstrong.
