But while Ruben Amorim is on the brink of adding another established Premier League forward to his attacking ranks, there is plenty more work to be done. The Portuguese head coach reportedly wants a new starting striker and energetic midfielder before the summer deadline. However, he is relying on player sales to boost his budget after committing his funds towards Mbeumo and the £62.5m capture of Matheus Cunha from Wolves. The Brazilian winger reignited his career on loan at Real Betis in the second half of last season, scoring nine goals and registering five assists in 26 appearances. He managed just 12 goals and five assists in 96 games for United after Erik ten Hag sanctioned an £86m deal to bring him from Ajax in 2022. Antony and Betis are believed to mutually plan on reuniting permanently this summer after his successful first taste of football in Spain. And, according to The Athletic, the 25-year-old's return to Seville is currently the most advanced of United's departures.Real Betis want to sign Antony permanently.While Rashford, Garnacho and Sancho are expected to leave for good as part of Amorim's ruthless attacking overhaul, Antony is in line to set sail first. But the sale of Antony would mark a strong start to the club's continued attempts to trim their wage bill and transform Amorim's squad into a unit more suited to his demands.
